Climate Denial Lives on at Exxon

At a time when controversy is raging over Exxon Mobil's longstanding attempts to slow public acknowledgment of climate change and its relationship to fossil fuel emissions, the oil giant is busy fending off shareholder resolutions calling for greater transparency and accountability.  In an op-ed that appeared in the Boston Globe's online edition on May 18, I offer my own take on several of those resolutions along with the corporation's arguments why each and every one of them should be voted down.  I also report on my own belated divestment of Exxon and other fossil fuel stock.
